If a compatible sleeve already exists, the aluminum Anchor can use that mounting point. If you are adding a new permanent dry-side installation, pair the Oasis with a BajaMate aluminum Foundation sleeve for a more integrated alternative to a bulky freestanding umbrella base.

What is included in an Oasis system?

An Oasis system combines a BajaMate Anchor, a two-piece aluminum Gather tabletop, 4 white silicone cup holders, installation hardware, a full-size BajaMate umbrella. The exact Anchor material, height, umbrella fabric color, and feature option depend on the configuration selected.

What is the difference between the In-Pool and On-Deck Oasis systems?

The In-Pool Oasis uses a marine-grade 316 stainless steel Anchor for permanent submerged installations. The On-Deck Oasis uses a lightweight aluminum Anchor for decks, patios, hardscape, landscapes, and other locations that are not continuously submerged.

Is the Gather tabletop stainless steel?

No. The Gather tabletop is aluminum in both Oasis configurations. It is designed to remain above the waterline while installed.

Does the tabletop stay installed?

Yes. The Gather tabletop is designed to remain installed on the Anchor. The umbrella pole passes through the center of the tabletop and into the Anchor below.

What size is the Gather tabletop?

The Gather tabletop is approximately 24 inches wide and is made from two interlocking aluminum sections.

What Anchor heights are available?

Oasis systems are available with 18-inch or 26-inch Anchor heights. The measurement refers to the height of the Anchor tube to the top of the cap, not the height of the tabletop.

Which Anchor height should I choose?

The 18-inch Anchor is commonly used for a single-step-down Baja shelf. The 26-inch Anchor is commonly used for a two-step-down or deeper Baja shelf. The correct height depends on your sleeve depth, water depth, and preferred tabletop position.

What umbrella sizes are available?

BajaMate umbrellas are available in 10-foot and 12-foot sizes. The 10-foot umbrella suits many Baja shelves and smaller outdoor areas, while the 12-foot umbrella provides broader shade coverage.

Does the Solar option include lighting?

No. The Solar option is intended to provide USB-C charging. 

Will the Oasis system fit my existing pool sleeve?

Oasis systems work best with a BajaMate Foundation sleeve. BajaMate Anchors also fit many existing builder-installed plastic pool and deck sleeves, but compatibility depends on the sleeve opening, depth, and condition.

Do I need a BajaMate Foundation sleeve?

A BajaMate Foundation sleeve provides the preferred installation and fit. However, many existing builder-installed plastic sleeves can also be used with a compatible BajaMate Anchor.

Can I leave the umbrella open in windy conditions?

No umbrella should remain open during strong winds, storms, or when the area is unattended. Close or remove the umbrella and follow the applicable safety guidance for your installation.

Are cup holders included with the Gather tabletop?

The Gather tabletop is designed with four cup-holder locations and compatible silicone cup holders. Confirm the included components on the selected product configuration before ordering.

Are the Anchor, table, and umbrella shipped together?

Shipping arrangements may vary based on the selected configuration, umbrella size, fabric choice, and production schedule. Review the product page and order details for current shipping and lead-time information.

The Anchor Is What Turns the Oasis Into One Integrated System.

Every BajaMate Oasis combines three major components: the Anchor, the Gather tabletop, and a full-size BajaMate umbrella. The Anchor is the structural connection that ties the table and umbrella to the sleeve below.

Instead of setting a freestanding umbrella base beside a separate table, the Oasis uses one centered mounting point. The Anchor installs into a compatible sleeve, the Gather tabletop builds around it, and the umbrella pole passes through the tabletop into the Anchor below.

The Anchor Does More Than Hold the Umbrella.

In an Oasis, the Anchor is the connection between the permanent sleeve below, the tabletop around it, and the umbrella above it.

It Supports the Gather Table

The Gather tabletop is built around the Anchor rather than functioning as an unrelated freestanding table.

This keeps table space centered at the same mounting location as the umbrella.

It Receives the Umbrella Pole

The umbrella passes through the center opening in the tabletop and seats into the Anchor below, allowing shade and table space to share one mounting point.

It Adds Useful Height

On recessed Baja shelf and pool-sleeve installations, the Anchor raises the usable mounting point above the original sleeve.

That added height helps place the tabletop and umbrella connection where the finished system needs them.

It Uses the Sleeve You Already Have

If a compatible builder-installed pool, deck, or patio sleeve already exists, the Anchor may be able to use that location without adding a bulky freestanding base.

Choose the Right Anchor Height

18-Inch or 26-Inch Anchor?

Anchor height is measured to the top of the Anchor tube/cap — not to the tabletop. The best height depends on sleeve depth, water depth, and the tabletop position you want.

Commonly Used for a Single-Step-Down Baja Shelf

The 18-inch Anchor is often the better fit where the sleeve is closer to the finished shelf surface and less additional mounting height is required.

26″

Commonly Used for a Two-Step-Down or Deeper Shelf

The 26-inch Anchor provides additional height for deeper or more recessed sleeve locations. Final selection should be based on the actual installation.
