Choose the 18-inch adapter for a shallower, single-step-down Baja shelf. Choose the 26-inch adapter for a deeper, two-step-down shelf. Select 316 stainless steel for permanent submerged use and aluminum for dry-side or temporary splash-zone installations.
Adapter selection depends on more than the sleeve opening alone. The correct setup also considers sleeve depth, water depth, finished surface height, umbrella-pole diameter, installation material, and whether the adapter will remain underwater.
